Welcome to the Central Accounting department. If you are viewing this site, you have likely encountered Foundation Credit (FCR) for the first time — or you could not locate where to file a report or apply for an access card, and arrived here instead.
1. What is Foundation Credit?
FCR is the Foundation's internal unit of account for personnel compensation and on-site commercial services.
- Standard denomination for salaries, allowances, and site purchases
- Recognized at all major Sites
- Convertible to local currency through authorized exchange channels (in-universe)
- Not a promotional gimmick or optional opt-in program
2. Who uses FCR?

3. What can I spend FCR on?
Canteen, commissary, recreation facilities, laundry, printing, transit passes, and other authorized on-site services. See the Site-19 Canteen menu for sample prices.
FCR is not valid for unauthorized transactions, classified purchases without requisition, or bribes.
4. Compensation & allowances
Regular personnel receive monthly salary deposits in FCR. Common supplements include hazard pay, field allowance, overtime credit, and night differential. Allowances appear as separate line items. If they do not, contact Central Accounting.
5. Exchange
FCR may be converted to local currency at authorized Foundation exchange offices. Rates are set by Central Accounting. Exchange is narrative only EFCR has no guaranteed real-world redemption value.

7. Access card program (Form PAM-CK-001)
All personnel must issue an access card key to use this Central Accounting portal. The access card is your personnel identification for portal interfaces — distinct from FCR, which is the internal currency for compensation and on-site purchases.
Complete Form PAM-CK-001 (Access Card Create) before filing reports or using personnel tools. The card key is not employment, not clearance, and not a substitute for an FCR balance.
8. Frequently asked questions
Is FCR "real money"?
Within Foundation facilities, it functions as the standard medium of exchange in fiction. Outside authorized contexts, do not file taxes as a Foundation employee.
What does "Secure. Contain. Profit." mean?
A departmental slogan from a fiscal year no one admits to approving. It is not an investment thesis.

What is the shield pictogram in the header?
The shield-and-columns mark is the Central Accounting organizational pictogram Ethe department icon for Personnel Compensation Office / Foundation Credit administration. It appears in the site header, browser tab (favicon), and Access Gateway session meter. It is an original fan asset, not the SCP Foundation three-arrow logo or any official wiki emblem.
